As Chief Commercial Officer at Oceanbird, a joint venture of Alfa Laval and Wallenius, he leads global sales and commercial strategy for cutting-edge wind propulsion solutions, advancing decarbonization in shipping. Dimitrios has built and managed high-performing sales teams, developed go-to-market strategies, and established strategic partnerships with shipowners, shipyards, and technology providers worldwide.

His industry background includes senior roles at Daphne Technology and Alfa Laval, as well as hands-on experience with ship owners and classification societies, giving him a strong foundation in both commercial and regulatory aspects of the maritime sector. Dimitrios holds an MSc in Naval Architecture and a Master’s in business administration. He is passionate about sustainable shipping and the adoption of innovative, clean technologies.
