Anna Psaroulis

Anna Psaroulis is Head of Executive Management Office at the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency, and a senior leader within Sweden's civil preparedness and total defence system. For two decades, Ms Psaroulis has worked in resilience, preparedness and strategic governance, including in the role of Acting Deputy Director-General, where she has contributed to shaping the strategic direction of Sweden’s civil defence efforts. Ms Psaroulis’ work focuses on strengthening national preparedness through capability development, planning and governance, as well as advancing a whole-of-society approach that brings together public authorities, the private sector and critical infrastructure operators to strengthen resilience and readiness. With Greek roots, Ms Psaroulis spent many childhood summers with her grandparents in Greece and has maintained a close connection to the country ever since
