Martin Olofsson
Founder & Co-Owner, Myran - Scandinavian Design

Martin Olofsson moved to Athens in 2003 with no fixed plan and no Greek, but with a marketing background from the Stockholm Concert Hall and a lifelong passion for design. Struck by the limited presence of Scandinavian design in Greece, he founded Myran -Scandinavian Design in 2004.

Over the past two decades, Myran has helped bring Scandinavian design from a niche interest to an established part of the Greek design landscape, representing brands including Fritz Hansen, Muuto and HAY.

Today, Myran operates as a retailer, agent and contract dealer, working with architects, interior designers and private clients on projects ranging from villas and hotels to airports. Recent projects include Conrad Athens The Ilisian, Aigli Zappeiou, Tatoi Club, Alpha Bank and Aegean Airlines’ business lounges.

In 2021, Myran opened Apenanti, an apartment showroom and creative space hosting exhibitions and collaborations with international designers and brands.
