Ewa Kumlin
Senior Project Manager, International Projects, Svensk Form

Ewa Kumlin is a Swedish cultural leader and international project manager with extensive experience in design, architecture and cultural exchange. For fourteen years, she served as CEO of Svensk Form, the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design, where she promoted Swedish design both nationally and internationally. She later spent five years in Paris as Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden and Director of the Institut suédois.

Ewa is the founder and initiator of Swedish Style, first launched in Tokyo around the turn of the millennium as a platform for contemporary Swedish design, culture and lifestyle. Today, she leads the renewed Swedish Style initiative in Japan, and the Scandinavian Design Embassy initiative showcasing Scandinavian design at Nordic embassies world wide on behalf of Svensk Form and with support from the Swedish institute.

Having lived and worked in cities including Tokyo, Paris, New York, Athens and Brasília, Ewa brings a distinctly international perspective to her work.
